The Role: Business Development Manager
Base Salary: £40K–£45K
Commission: 10% on MRR (Uncapped)
Targets: ~£2K MRR per month
Scope: Inbound + Outbound + Expansion
Location: Brighton - 4 Days a week in office
Reports to: Head of UK Sales
You’ll join as one of the first boots on the ground in the UK team, responsible for qualifying and closing inbound pipeline, outbound prospecting into new merchants, and expanding across mid-market e-commerce brands doing £1M-£20M in annual revenue.

What You'll Be Doing
Run the full sales cycle from discovery to close with e-commerce brands across the UK
Identify and engage decision-makers within growing DTC and marketplace merchants
Cross-sell and upsell in the first 6 months to drive adoption and expansion
Manage pipeline in HubSpot, build outbound lists, and follow up on inbound interest
Translate merchant pain points into automation wins with the platform
Collaborate with onboarding and product teams to ensure smooth handoffs
What You'll Need to Stand Out
1+ years of SaaS sales experience, ideally with exposure to e-commerce, martech, or marketplaces
Proven ability to run discovery, demo effectively, and close deals up to £10K+ ACV
Strong outbound mindset - you can build pipeline in high value accounts + work with an SDR team to tag team on accounts
Bonus points if you've sold into DTC brands, Amazon sellers, or marketplace merchants
Self-driven and comfortable working in an early-stage, high-autonomy environment
