The Role: Social Marketing & Community Executive
Base Salary: £30K-£32K
Location: Brighton - 3 to 4 days/week in office
You’ll own social and community end-to-end - from building content calendars and launching Reddit/Discord groups, to driving engagement, creating assets, and turning conversations into leads. You’ll have the freedom to test, tweak, and scale what works.
This is not a “post and pray” social role. You’ll be talking to real merchants, finding stories, and building credibility in the market.

What You’ll Be Doing
Own and manage the social calendar across LinkedIn, Reddit, Discord, YouTube, X and beyond
Launch and grow new communities – Reddit, Discord, Facebook Groups – wherever our ICP hangs out
Create lightweight, on-brand content with Canva, Capcut, and AI tools
Engage directly in comments, DMs, threads, and discussions to drive community momentum
Turn seller stories into content, spot insights and feed ideas into the wider marketing team
Cover events and in-person moments for real-life brand building
Track engagement, sentiment, and growth using tools like Brand24 or Sprout
What Will Set You Apart
1+ years of experience in community, social or digital marketing
Passion for growing communities and creating content that connects
Comfortable posting, replying and showing up where the audience already lives
Tools like Canva, Capcut, Reddit, LinkedIn, and Discord feel like second nature
Strong writing voice with a sense for what will drive discussion
Curious, creative, and commercially aware – you want your content to convert, not just look good
