GTM Search is partnered with a tech start-up that is reinventing the restaurant point-of-sale (POS) software. The provide a solution that is better, faster and smarter than the competition allowing restaurant owners to control and optimise their operations and to focus on growing their business.
We’re specifically looking for candidates with experience selling into/working in the restaurant, foodtech, hospitality sectors that might have an existing network in the restaurant industry that they can utilise.
You'll be based in London, being able to spend your time out meeting with hospitality businesses, introducing them to the solution throughout the week.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a true start-up, taking a big role in a small team. Being a founding member, you will drive transformation from a start-up into a successful company. The ideal candidate will be experienced in sales, however will certainly consider those coming directly from hospitality looking to transition into sales. We expect you to be a reliable professional, able to balance customer orientation and a results-driven approach. Key attributes of the position include an extrovert and outgoing personality who is excellent when talking to clients face-to-face or discussing over the phone.
Your overarching goal is to identify new client opportunities and build them into long-term profitable relationships.
Your responsibilities will include (without limitation):
· Sell B2B and achieve target KPIs
· Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
· Manage your time and build your own pipeline
· Discover new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships
· Demonstrate products to prospective clients either in-person or online
· Assist in setting up new venues
· Provide professional after-sales support to maximise customer loyalty
· Remain in regular contact with your clients to understand and meet their needs and maintain our company’s reputation
· Be the voice of the restauranter and share valuable feedback with our team
· Get ready to roll up your sleeves and get involved in many other aspects of the business.
Job Requirements
· Background in POS / delivery / wholesale / hospitality industry with great connections
· Knowledge of restaurant operations is a plus
· Proven experience as an Account Executive, or a similar sales role
· Proven track record working with KPIs in a sales setting
· Experience canvassing, door-to-door sales and cold-calling into various types of local businesses
· Comfortable working independently and managing your own diary
· Enthusiastic, confident, passionate and highly motivated individual
· Team player
· Proficiency in English
· Knowledge of a second language is a plus
